INTRODUCTION
The Congress Organising Committee invites scientists and researchers throughout the world to present their investigations either as oral or as poster presentations. The oral and poster sessions will be designed from accepted abstracts.

AGREEMENT
Persons submitting an abstract for the 15th BaSS congress are doing so with the understanding that they must abide by the following policies:
•    The official language of the meeting and all communications will be only in English.
•    You may only present one abstract for the meeting (except symposia, round tables, and keynote speakers).
•    You may appear as a co-author on an unlimited number of abstracts.
•    Presenters are required to register until Sunday 21st March, 2010. Failure to register will result in your abstract being withdrawn from the congress.

General guidelines for the Online Abstract System

The Online Abstract System divides the abstract submission process into steps, so that authors can enter information and confirm it as correct before moving to the next step. By following the steps you will automatically proceed through every step needed to submit an abstract. One page will follow another until you are finished. After clicking the "submit" ("Ö") button at each stage, you will see the information that you have entered. The steps involved in abstract submission are:

1.      Select Mode of presentation (either oral or poster)

2.      Select the Scientific Group. Authors must select ONLY ONE topic category that best fits the subject of their abstract.

3.      Title -- enter the title. The abstract title should not exceed 10 (ten) words

4.      Author(s) -- enter all authors, their affiliations and a valid e-mail address for each author. Indicate the Presenting Author -- enter the contact details for the presenting author and a valid e-mail address for correspondence

5.      Submit your abstract text

The abstract should not contain images, tables, figures or chemical structures.

The abstract cannot be more than 300 words and not less than 250 words. This does not include the title, author's names and details.

If an abstract contains less than 250 words or exceeds 300 words you will not be able to submit it.

If you receive an error message telling you to reduce the word count, please do so; otherwise, you will not be able to submit your abstract.

The abstract must include the following headings: INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS, and CONCLUSIONS in the body of the abstract. In abstracts describing Case Reports the headings should be: INTRODUCTION, CASE REPORT and CONCLUSIONS in the body of the abstract. If those headings are not included in the text you will not be able to submit your abstract.

6.      If applicable, submit your competition selections (BaSS or GABA award), and accept the terms and conditions

7.      Take note of the abstract ID number assigned to your submission and keep it for your records.
