Congress Location
The venue for the 15th Congress of the Balkan Stomatological Society
(BaSS) will be the "I. Vellidis Congress Centre" in Thessaloniki City,

"I. Vellidis Congress Centre" is situated to Thessaloniki city centre.
Macedonia airport and is easily accessible by public transport. From
the airport we would recommend taking a taxi, which should cost
approximately €10.

Visas
Visitors from most countries do not require a travel visa to visit
Greece. If in doubt please contact to Compass Congress & Travel

Currency
Greece is in the Eurozone, and the Euro (€) is the only currency that
will be accepted. Banks and many hotels will convert foreign currency
to Euros. Most major credit cards are accepted in Greece.
Electricity
Greece is 220V. 50 Hz and the socket type is European Standard.
Safety
In general Greece is a safe destination. However, we recommend that
travelers take normal precautions for safety of their person and
belongings. All visitors are advised to have their own travel insurance
for their trip to Greece.
Smoking policy
Smoking is prohibited at all times in the meeting halls, exhibit halls and restrooms. Your compliance is appreciated.
New smoking regulations will be valid for Greece starting from July 1st, 2009. More information will follow.

Please note that mobile phones must be switched off during all sessions.
